We now have 5 divisions who will lead the stores agenda together across the UK. Each division will be led by a Divisional Director who will work with the Regional Managers and functional experts to drive excellence in customer care throughout their division. The divisions will bring together all our store formats to ensure that we can deliver exactly what our customers need, and where they need it.
The five distinct store formats are:
- Local pharmacy – Our local community pharmacy network. All former Alliance Pharmacy stores re-branded to ‘Your Local Boots Pharmacy’ plus our smaller Boots stores.
- Health & beauty – Our High street and Edge of town destination stores.
- Flagship stores – These are predominantly the bigger beauty businesses. We have 65 flagship stores in total.
- Airports - We have exciting plans to expand and develop this area of the business, providing travellers with everything they need within UK airports.
- Republic of Ireland - Our stores in Ireland combine both the local pharmacy and health & beauty formats and we’re expanding our portfolio rapidly, with great plans for future growth.
All of our Regions, Areas and Stores are organised by these formats. We have 31 regions in total: 15 health & beauty, 10 local pharmacy, 5 flagship and 1 airport. We have 149 areas, 61 for local pharmacy, 88 for health and beauty.
