Qualifications when I joined Boots: Pharmacy degree
My career so far: I applied for a job here because I’d only ever heard positive things said about Boots. I’ve worked here for 18 months now and have moved around between different stores.
My typical day: It tends to be busy but I have lots of time to spend with the patients. Most of the day is spent giving them advice on over-the-counter medicines and delivering MURs (Medicine Use Reviews). After work, we go out as a team. That’s when all the fun stuff happens!
The best thing about my job: The staff I work with. I’ve made some of my very best friends while working here. It’s also the atmosphere of the store, which is very relaxed but busy at times.
If you could compare yourself to a Boots product what would it be?
“If I could compare myself to a Boots product it would probably be a Boots all in one multi-vitamin because I promote health and well being”
How many advantage points have you got?
“I actually have lots and lots of advantage points. I always shop at Boots and I think my total is £250.”
What’s your best tip to cure a hangover?
“The best tip I think for a hangover cure is not to drink at all, but if you do it would probably have to be resolve.”
