My career so far: I joined Boots in 1995 after deciding that I needed to push myself more in my career. I did my summer placement at Boots, then my prereg year. After qualifying, I worked as an Optometrist in the High Wycombe store, then moved up to Senior Optometrist. I’ve been in my current role in Ealing for 18 months.

My typical day: Breakfast. Brief my team. See patients. See more patients. (Lunch is a luxury and very rare!) End of day paperwork. Swift one in the pub.

The best thing about my job: The staff discount and my work colleagues. And meeting 20 different people every day, all with a different story to tell or advice to give.
