Qualifications when I joined Boots: It was more about my skills and experience.
My career so far: I had my own business before I joined Boots. I sold it when I moved to Nottingham, and was eager for a job in a corporate environment. Boots was a natural progression for me. I’ve been here four and a half years now.
My typical day: The main focus of my day is managing inventories so that items don’t go out of stock. I work with suppliers, warehouses, and colleagues in stores – and make sure any issues are communicated to my team members.
The best thing about my job: The best thing about Boots is that you’re left to get on with your job, but there’s support if you need it. I also like the people, and the ‘people-friendly’ atmosphere of the company.
